Heathrow Express is a high-speed train service that operates between Heathrow airport and London Paddington station. Further details of the services can be obtained from the Heathrow Express website, including ticket purchase and timetables.

At Heathrow airport, take the Underground to Kew Gardens. Piccadilly line (dark blue) change at Hammersmith or Turnham Green, if it stops (early a.m. & late p.m.) onto the District Line (green).

To reach Kew Gardens you should only board a train going to RICHMOND. When you leave Kew Gardens station you are in North Road.

Directions from Eurostar terminal at London St Pancras Top of page

Take over ground (mainline) service from St Pancras to Richmond.

PLEASE NOTE: Richmond is not the end of the line. Regular fast or slow service 15 to 35 minutes. Once at Richmond Station walk across concourse and take either the Overground (yellow or blue and green*) or Undergound (silver with red ends) train and exit at first station Kew Gardens. Take subway under the tracks to reach North Road. When you exit you are in North Road.

OR Exit from Eurostar, follow signs for the tube (underground). Take the Northern Line (black) or Bakerloo Line (brown) one stop North bound to Embankment. Change to the District Line (green) WEST BOUND. Take a RICHMOND tube to Kew Gardens. Exit from the station. You are now in North Road.

By car Top of page

Please note that this is a controlled parking zone Monday to Friday, 10am to 12 noon so if you park during these times you will need a Visitor's Voucher, price £2 per day - available from Mrs Hearn when you arrive.

M4 exit 2 direction Chiswick / Kew Bridge / Richmond A205. Over Kew Bridge to traffic lights, keep left follow A205. Take fifth turning on the right, West Park Road at the end of this road turn left. You are now in North Road.

M3 to A316 continue straight, follow signs to Richmond / Central London. Continue till Manor Circus roundabout - Sainsburys across to right, BP petrol filling station on your left. Immediately before and after the roundabout there are pedestrian crossings. Take first left after roundabout. Lance Owen Vauxhall garage on the corner. This is North Road. Number 85 is three quarters of the way down, eighteen houses after Atwood Avenue.

 

* Eurostar has new trains that are yellow on the front and sides but they are also still running the old blue and green ones.
